The church building has been closed since mid-March and many might wonder why it cannot be opened, other churches have. The LiNC board has been preparing for the possibility of reopening. A lot of precautions have to be taking place in an old three-storied building for it to be safe from the Corona virus in general and especially for older, vulnerable people. It is not an unknown fact that it is mostly this group that frequent a church building. But it is also this vulnerable group of people that makes up the management and volunteers that would work to make it as safe as possible.
The number of Corona cases have gone up in the last month in Liverpool so it is with heavy hearts we have to put any plans of opening on hold. We do not anticipate to hold our popular Christmas fair or Lucia celebrations this year.
Anyone who would like to participate in the congregation’s Zoom services on most Sundays can contact firstname.lastname@example.org, the pastor in charge, or stan.royden.hotmail.co.uk for information about how to join in with Zoom.
