The Church building is closed because of the Coronavirus pandemic
Apr 29 2020 @ 11:29 am – Jan 15 2021 @ 8:00 am

Dear all,

The Christmas celebrations are fast approaching and pandemic restrictions have been eased off somewhat by the government for the benefit of everybody. But it is still much up to us all to do the best we can to avoid any unnecessary risks of infecting ourselves and others. The church building has been closed since mid-March and many might wonder why it cannot be opened, other churches have. The LiNC board has been preparing for the possibility of reopening. A lot of precautions have to take place in an old three-storied building for it to be as safe as possible from the Corona virus in general and especially for older, vulnerable people. It is not an unknown fact that it is mostly this group who attend a church service or event. But it is also this vulnerable group of people that make up the management and volunteers who help to make it as safe as possible.
The number of Corona cases have gone down this last month in Liverpool but it is with heavy hearts we still have to put any plans of opening on hold. We do not anticipate holding our popular Lucia celebrations this year nor Christmas Eve service with the traditional lunch.
Anyone who would like to participate in the congregation’s Zoom services on most Sundays at 11.30am can contact, the pastor in charge, or for information about how to join in with Zoom.
We suggest that you can also watch a service broadcast on BBC and on Nordic countries’ networks.
If you want more information regarding the church building you can contact

We wish all of you a happy Christmas and New Year and hope it is not long until the building can be opened.
Best regards
Roger and Stan
