Concert: Journey To The New World. The group Palisander performs.
Sep 24 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Starting with the exploits of Christopher Columbus, Sir Francis Drake and Sir Walter Raleigh, this programme takes musical inspiration from the Renaissance courts, the high sea, Anglo-Spanish conflicts and the indigenous people of the Americas.
Music spanning over 500 years, including Thomas Tallis, Vivaldi and Vaughan Williams, is performed by a young group, Palisander on historically authentic recorders.
