Our Sunday services and morning prayers reflect our Nordic Lutheran tradition but all are very welcome to join us, pray and sing with us, hear the Word and receive communion or blessing. Bilingual liturgy booklets are provided.
This Sunday we will be joined by two Norwegian choirs: Sjaergardskoret and Con Brio. They will sing for us after the service, so come if you can!
Skjærgårdskoret is based in Nøtterøy and is a mixed choir with 45 singers. It is about 10 men in the choir – the rest are women, and most of the singers are over 50 years old. Skjærgårdskoret was founded in year 1980. The have a mixed repertoire – with both classical and rhythmic music. Our choir conductor, Elisabeth Berle, has been our choir conductor since January this year.
Con Brio was founded in 1984 and is a mixed choir from Krødsherad
municipality and five nearby municipalities.
The choir’s repertoire is very versatile. It covers various degrees of difficulty in church music, folk tunes, gospel, shows and modern music.
The choir’s conductor is Tatiana Sjo Gustad
Refreshments are served afterwards
Please always check website, changes do occur.
